Janelle + Justin, New Oxford, PA

On October 6, beautiful couple Justin and Janelle wed in New Oxford, PA surrounded by family, friends, and nature at a lovely Civil War-era home.  Everything was stunning, from the serene lakeside property to the fabulous decor, and the couple could not have been happier.  I first met Janelle and Justin in July, and almost instantly I felt I had known them both for years.  We talked for nearly two hours, and I was amazed by just how similar they are.  They are such kind, easy-going, relatable people, and I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to share their special day with them.  In addition to that, Janelle is an incredible wedding planner, and she has so many amazing ideas.  Every last detail was perfect, and everything was so unique.

On the day of her wedding, Janelle was the picture of calm serenity.  Even with a slight time crunch and what looked like bad weather heading our way (that miraculously turned to sunny skies just minutes before the ceremony), Janelle remained calm, kind, and happy.  And it seems that is how Janelle always is; she just exudes love and kindness, as does her new husband, Justin.  When Justin first saw Janelle walk down the aisle, his face lit up, and as they stood side by side after Janelle's parents gave her away, he could not stop smiling, even as he bowed his head to pray.  The joy that these two felt was incredible, and I am certain that everyone at their wedding could see and feel it.  I feel so grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know this beautiful couple, and I loved capturing the special moments during their joy-filled day.
