April + Jon, Linthicum, MD

April and Jon are not only a beautiful couple, but a pair that are so special to me, and two people I have known and cared about for so many years.  April and I were the best of friends in high school.  We lived less than a mile apart, shared tons of inside jokes, were members of "JAB," and were both super frugal (and we used the words "super" and "amazing" a lot, words that are still very popular in my vocabulary!).  We wore the same style clothes, ate the same foods, and I even tried to learn breakdancing, which is one of April's many talents.  I knew Jon all through school too, and my parents claim we were in play group together when we were just a few years old.  My grandmother worked with Jon's grandmother, Jon's father and uncles went to school with my father, and the list goes on.  These are two very important people to me, and they are truly some of the most kind and generous people out there.  To say that they are a great couple is an understatement.  April and Jon are so giving with their love and friendship, and you could see just how much love and friendship they get in return by the smiles and hugs from the more than 100 people at their wedding.

Jon planned nearly the entire wedding which was held in Linthicum, MD at the Olive Grove.  Not only was he on top of all the planning, but he had an eye for the details, which included real rose petals on the tables, a slideshow with pictures of the couple, and fantastic food (I had the crab cake which was so good, I am already planning a trip back for more!).  It was also so special that Jon's father, an ordained minister, married the couple, and the speeches that April and Jon's parents gave were so touching.

When you see these two look at each other, it is clear just how in love they are.  They are a beautiful couple, from their kind, giving hearts to their lovely personalities and winning smiles.  I am so thankful I could be there to see these two wed, and I know they will have a long and happy marriage.

I love this one!  Isn't this gorgeous?  The most impressive part was that this was shot in a parking lot.  I think this adorable couple could make ANY spot look great!

Their guests blew bubbles at the end of the reception (but Jon's sisters are to thank for all of these bubbles!).
